NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

One of London’s most architecturally beautiful museums, the Natural History Museum first opened in 1881 and is now home to more than 80 million specimens spanning billions of years.

Alongside the varied and interactive exhibits, the museum is also a leading science research centre that uses its unique collections to tackle so of the biggest natural challenges currently facing the world.

Attracting over five million visitors annually, who flock to wander around the permanent galleries and marvel at the iconic Diplodocus skeleton, the Natural History museum also offers a wide-range of temporary exhibitions and events and is definitely worth a visit while in the area.
